[MDF] Medium Density Fiberboard [HPI] Honed Pitted [10005] Middle grey
Precision and authenticity. When engineered intelligence meets the beauty of natural imperfection.
XSTONE MDF Honed Pitted Middle Grey is a mineral-faced MDF stone panel that brings together the structural exactness of engineered wood and the living, tactile depth of a genuine mineral surface. The MDF core — homogeneous, knot-free, CNC-machinable — provides a perfectly calibrated substrate engineered for precision fabrication: furniture faces, retail fixtures, architectural joinery, and bespoke wall panels, all executed with the tight tolerances that only MDF can deliver.
Onto this foundation is bonded the Honed Pitted mineral veneer: a softly refined surface marked by delicate pores, subtle cavities, and gentle variations that create a quiet depth of natural imperfection. A texture shaped by time rather than force. Smooth yet alive. Refined yet honest. In Middle Grey — RAL7040, the muted, grounded mineral grey of natural stone at its most balanced — the effect is one of effortless architectural authority. A panel that belongs equally in a luxury hotel suite, a flagship retail interior, a premium hospitality joinery project, or a high-end residential fitted environment.
Ultra-thin real stone laminate, just 1–2 mm, bonded to a dimensionally stable MDF core: all the visual and tactile richness of natural stone, with a fraction of the weight, the complexity, and the environmental footprint. Compliant with E1 formaldehyde emission standards.
Where fabrication meets finesse — this is the material that makes both possible.

Affordable
MDF is a particularly affordable material compared to other solid woods commonly used in interior design.
Versatility
MDF is available in a wide variety of sizes, thicknesses, and types (water-resistant, fire-retardant, and pre-stained), allowing you to tackle a wide range of projects, such as kitchen cabinetry, office desks, storage units, shelves, and wall panels.
Easy to machine
MDF is very easy to cut, saw, and machine to create complex and custom shapes.
Good dimensional stability
MDF has high dimensional stability. It does not expand or contract even with slight changes in temperature and humidity
Eco friendly
This is a relatively environmentally friendly product because it can be easily recycled and is made from wood scraps or wood particles that have been compressed and reinforced with glue.
